Brent Armstrong
Graduated from Queen's University in 1990. Since that time he has been involved with several industries throughout Canada in the design and implementation of ergnomic change. From small, single workstation design or modification, to major projects (from the ground up), Brent takes a hands on approach that is both efficient and cost-effective. Brent specializes in education and delivery of the "ergonomic message" to workers and managers. Brent holds degrees in Kinesiology (the study of human movement) and Education. He has post graduate education in Job Analysis, Ergonomics, Forensic Rehabilitation and Functional Assessment. He is a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator and is a Senior Advisor to the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists.
Tanja Yardley
Obtained her degree in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 1992. Since then she has gained broad experience in sports medicine, ergonomics and return to work programs. She has been involved in large and small scale disability management initiatives and training programs for front line and supervisory personnel. Most recently she participated in the creation of a national ergonomics program tailored for food processors with funding from Human Resources and Development Canada entitled “Working Smarter not Harder” – Ergonomics in the Workplace. Tanja’s personable style and practical experience makes the disability management process enjoyable and user-friendly.
